Second-round UX review: host publication
Evidence class: host documentation and design mockups. Recorded
2026-10-02. The review was independently checked and landed at
9d7437b08b1c6429748af29b62b4f8a522ea8dd7; exact-revision site run
36967302130
passed. These drawings are proposals, not newly installed device screens.
The report, baseline and identities, findings, recommendations, and render commands and review corrections retain the distinction between current captures, older references and targets.
Annotated comparisons and motion storyboard:
Five host tasks are complete. Current-source journey execution and the focused integrated-candidate recheck remain open. Publication does not close those gates or archive the analysis. The next three priorities remain owned by existing theme-motion, card/keyboard and theme-consumer proposals.
Work-card discovery correction
Build-tested source: 096a66e4a7ab1925b18484d81b697cd076606af8.
The work board previously discovered cited documents only under evidence and design folders. The review’s research folder was omitted. The discovery fix adds cited research paths without scanning unrelated research trees. Reviewed per-file metadata labels all four annotated sheets as design mockups; a mixed research/capture fixture checks that a captured image keeps its own provenance. Invalid, duplicate and conflicting metadata are rejected.
Host commands:
python3 tests/test_work_board.py
python3 scripts/render_work_board.py --working-tree --output "$HOME/tmp/k230-ux-review-publication-snapshot.json"
nix develop --command python3 scripts/build_site.py
Results: 22 tests passed; the snapshot exposes all four correctly labeled sheets; the full site build passed with 503 pages, 15,026,169 bytes and 43.93 seconds, within the existing 16 MiB / 120 second budgets. The kernel auditor independently approved the citation bounds and per-file labels. This checks publication integrity, not physical UX acceptance.
Published browser check
Published revision c33bae96d7bbff42bb0ef6ef5ed6834b5c55f37b passed
site build and deployment run 36968861312.
The coordinator then checked the actual public work board
with Playwright at desktop 1440×1000 and mobile 390×844 viewports, without
mocked network responses. Both checks passed: exact published artifact-index
revision, all four SVGs loaded in the gallery, correct distinct captions and
Design mockup labels, gallery dismissal, and the report opening as rendered
Markdown in the document modal with return to the same card detail. No page
errors occurred. This is host-browser publication proof, not K230 input or
optical acceptance.
Current candidate checkpoint — 2026-10-09
The sanitized console and native captures identify the later normal runtime and complete candidate/recheck tasks 3.1/3.2. The actual current journey walkthrough remains open. Historical host/browser publication above keeps its original evidence class and revision.
Operator walkthrough — 2026-10-09
The exact functional reply confirms Terminal keyboard, app switching and video journeys requested in this current candidate session. Task 2.2 is complete as a review with explicit unknowns; this supersedes the pending walkthrough statement above, without changing historical evidence or accepting runtime optical/performance/exceptional-state gates.
Completed report publication — 2026-10-09
The current candidate and operator walkthrough landed at
817804758cae1801e9b57de3cda6969eccd15529.
CI and Pages run 37999119193
passed build and deployment. The actual public work board
returned HTTP 200 and that exact revision.
publication.json records the check and
its limits. All nine analysis tasks are complete; successor runtime evidence
remains open. This supersedes the incomplete historical checkpoints above.
Analysis archive — 2026-10-09
The completed change
contains nine completed analysis tasks. OpenSpec synced three new requirements
into docs/handheld-ux-plan; all five prior requirements are preserved byte for
byte after surrounding whitespace normalization.
archive-check.json records that comparison
and the remaining runtime evidence owners. The archive changes documentation
only and requires no newly installed image or repeat of accepted functional checks.
